Size 4” x 6” framed in a shadow box finished size 10”w x 8”h

Materials: silk, cotton, one of a kind hand silk screened silks, organza, acetate, polyester, rayon, cotton batik metallic thread, beads, ribbon, yarn

Techniques: machine pieced and quilted and embroidered, couching, fusing, appliqué, hand quilted and embroidered

As a member of the art quilt group Fiber Revolution (2006-2014) a wonderful concept was proposed by one of our members, Kevin Lunney to create these very small, concentrated pieces of art.. hence the name “Art Concentrated “.

The Zoom Blooms are a macro focus of a flower enticing the viewer to imagine the rest. This intimate 4”x 6” art quilt is mounted on an ivory colored matt board and framed into an 8” x 10” shadow box. The shadow box frame is available in a satin black or walnut finish. The finished piece has two display options: hang on the wall individually or as a group, or place on a shelf or counter using the stand attached to the back..
